Call for Abstracts

Abstract submissions for the VARIABLE CHARGE SOIL Conference are now open.

We invite researchers, innovators, policymakers, and practitioners—share your insights on tackling microplastic pollution at the Soils Conference 2025.

Whether you’re advancing environmental monitoring, developing new detection methods, exploring remediation strategies, or influencing policy, we invite you to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation.

Abstract submissions have been extended 

In response to numerous requests, the Variable Charges Soils call for abstract submissions deadline has been extended to Friday 14 October 2025. 

This is your last chance to grab a presentation slot to share your knowledge within microplastic pollution community at Variable Charge Soil Conference 2026. There will be no further extensions!

Abstract guidelines

If you wish to submit an abstract for consideration, you must use the online submission link above. 

Please prepare your abstract using the formatting guidelines below and submit your abstract as a Word .doc or .docx ONLY - no PDF files or other file types will be accepted: 

  1. Create a user account with EventsAir.
  2. Complete contact details.
  3. Complete key questions, ie theme, preferred presentation platform. You should select the most appropriate theme/s for your paper.
  4. Upload your abstract.
  5. A Confirmation email of abstract submitted will be sent to Author.

6. You can edit you abstract and submission and/or add new papers up until the close of papers. 

The receipt of all abstracts will be automatically acknowledged at the time of submission. If you have not received an email, check your email spam/junk folder.

By submitting an abstract, the author accepts all the terms and conditions below:  

Please note the presenters will be required to fund their registration costs and where applicable their travel and accommodation costs.  

At least one author per paper must register and pay for the Conference on or before the close of earlybird registrations. Papers with no registered author may be Withdrawn.  

Submission acknowledges consent to print the abstract and contact details in the conference proceedings and list of presenting authors.

CRC Care reserves the right to the publication of abstracts in carious media, including, but not limited to journals, internet publications, other digital media and PR and promotional material for Variable Charge Soils Conference 2026. CRC Care also retains continuing right to use the accepted abstracts in CRC Care publications, conference proceedings, abstracts, CDs, press releases and reprints. CRC Care rights do not exclude the rights of authors to submit or publish their abstracts as they see fit.
